For the past 150 years and up to the present, Canon in D major is still the most popular music for weddings. I can’t imagine why it is vastly asked for as one of the wedding music played while there are more beautiful compositions. It is a composition by a German Baroque composer and first published by Pachelbel in 1919. He was born in 1653 and died in 1706 but his music remains as the most popular wedding music ever.  The advantage in playing Canon in D is that it can fit any time span and...
