DJ Jeff Almighty - DJ Manila Philippines

July 4, 2012
He started at the age of 17 when he joined the newly formed Augustine Music and Events where he was the operator of the sound system of the group doing party music for the wedding reception. He did this for keeps not knowing that this is the hollow ground where passion starts. He did this with little remuneration but in the course of time, he began to enjoy being a DJ.

Being young and bubbly, he favored the music of the time where hip hop and the likes ruled not knowing that ballroom music will always be there to stay. So, he developed the liking of ballroom music and was an in thing then. As he went on, Jeff, as he is called, pursued other music genre to include on his repertoire of vast music collections.

A break was given him when he was asked to play house music at Nepomuceno’s Bowling Alley, Eastwood, Pasig City. Then, given a slot and began to enjoy his stint there where he met friends and contacts who liked his brand of music. Some offers started from there but remained longer at the alley because he enjoyed the place, for sure. Well, I think anyone wants a certain lift to his standing and when he was asked to do guestings in weddings and other venues, restaurants, inns needing a DJ, he did the part. He was also asked by SM for some engagements and he accepted. Also, in Mindanao where he was asked to do music for a certain affair and did for two trips.

Still, he is loyal to Insomnia where is one of the resident DJ’s there sacrificing the morning schedules given him. I didn’t know then that people go partying at around 3 in the morning until 6 am. But it is happening doesn’t it?

To some of his friends, he is fondly called, Jeff Almighty “Woop Woop”.

By the way, he was also asked to audition for the DJ Pioneer Competition and elimination process is ongoing. Today, they will be having photo shoots as part of the process and the finalist will represent the Philippines for the DJ Ultimate Pioneer Competition.

Now, that he is a father of two in his late twenties, his passion being a DJ remains

Congratulation! DJ Jeff The Almighty.

World Class Performance by A Wedding Supplier Philippines

June 27, 2012
Light jazz music is the easiest to perform not because of the melody but the freedom to express the message of the piece. It also calls for musician who has the passion to interpret the song or music in line with the vocal rendition matching the feel of the singer to create the magic of a song.
It doesn't require you to be musically schooled to perform such a feat. It also needs the ear for sentiment inherent in each of us. The more sensitive you are, the better performer can you be.
Well, music has to be learned first to know its nuances and to exact the melody according to what it intends to send.
Everyone can interpret or play particular music or piece but what sets you apart is the difference of talent, meaning a gift given to you especially if you are a singer. And the musician who rules such perfection can enhance the vocal part for both to shine. Of course, the vocalist has to match the cadence of a true artist.

An example of such performance doesn't require you to raise your voice or reach high notes. The fluidity of carrying a tune is akin to a conversation where there's no need to raise voices but naturally expresses one's feeling. Even when joining a singing contest, it irritates the judges when you belt too much. They still long for someone who knows how to control his or her voice. What is singing for but control.

Bridal Fair Shares

June 25, 2012
Joining bridal fair or exhibit contributes a portion of possible business for you. It marks a percentage from total share where internet searches still top for your business to be found. True, joining fair costs money but it helps in any manner possible. Having extra budget helps for you to join such.

Most of my inquiries are online but I don't discredit the presence of getting lead sales from a bridal exhibit. From such fair, business materials are disposed off and many surely visits serving as advertising vehicle for possible sales. It doesn't come in an instant but you are one choice from many who exhibit their services or wares. Still, your business brochures are in good hands.

Just recently, I had the fun joining a fair organized by Themes & Motifs and many came to visit the midyear exhibit. There are inquiries on the spot, some listened to our music, some assured me for calls and mostly showed interest. Most visitors have their weddings on December and crossing my fingers of having more December schedules.

We always come in sync with our purpose of sharing the passion for music and the true dedication of a wedding event planning to its best.

Wedding Supplier Philippines - Augustine Music and Events

June 22, 2012
Establishing oneself as premiere wedding supplier requires strategy and exposure. It encompasses not only what you can share but the uniqueness of the service or product you offer. The internet is so vast that no matter how good you are in promoting your website, for example doesn't create magic. Hard work is required. Technical know how is needed. Common sense is important.

Of course, the famous words Search Engine Optimization as most webmasters know play pivotal role. It leads a way for visibility on searches. You have to work for it to get a chance. And your chances depend on how much work you put. But it doesn't end there. I believe the more posts you share, the more chances of you being visible online.

These are practical ways everybody knows and creating something to post often is good. It leads somehwere but the trust has to be built. Create something useful and informative and you are on the way for something bigger.

Wedding Planning Eased by Augustine Music and Events

June 19, 2012
He came from Saudi Arabia and she arrived from Macau to tie the knot at St. Pancratius Chapel, Paco Park having the members of Augustine Music and Events doing the errands of a dedicated wedding coordinator with the wedding musicians adding flavor to the package chosen by the couple on their wedding of June 16, 2012.

Wedding reception was held at the Ibarra's Garden, Padre Faura with a program approved by the couple for us to deliver hand in hand with the wedding coordinators who were always on the go with preparations that took almost two months scrutinizing details for a smooth-sailing wedding event.

We hosted the wedding reception program and provided the wedding songs and music preferred by Alma and Jerome with the usual flair only Augustine Music and Events keeps basing from the love of music and heartfelt dedication to help the bride and the groom on their very special wedding day.

Thank You Note For Tagaytay Highlands

June 12, 2012
Hi!

This is Mario Lupato from Augustine Music and Events sending a message to Gil Petilos who helped us when we had a mishap in Tagaytay Highlands that happened on June 10, 2012 on way for the DeLeon-Maniquiz Wedding at Madre de Dios.

From our grateful hearts we want to thank you together with the security people who sincerely extended great assistance without expecting anything in return. I can't end thanking them and we know God will reward such goodness.

Also, we want to thank Jackie and her companion at the Information Desk who felt our need for help and went far for us to be assisted.

Also, the security personnel in motorcycle (sorry I wasn't able to get his name.) He is an Ilocano from Pangasinan who stayed with us until help was given. He also called someone to drive our van because I was in trauma and I refused to drive. He drove us with such skill knowing perfectly roads of Tagaytay Highlands to gate 1 where we were safe with the Ilocano security personnel behind us seeing that all was safe for us. What kindness from people.

We will never forget you, guys. And you will always be in our prayers. I know the Lord will repay such goodness.

Once again, from the deepest of our hearts, THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Much sincerity,
Mario Lupato, Ranel Ramos, Iric Paner and Marvin Rimando

Wedding Coordinator's Travail - Augustine Music and Events

June 6, 2012

As a wedding coordinator, it's imperative to consider time management and going to attend the job earlier than expected reduces stress for both bride and the wedding planner. More so when it is an out-of-town service where time catches and being at the right time means more space to do what is required of you and better judgement when amiss. It reserves you ample space to do the bidding for accomplished planning and implementation of what's needed. And there you are, the expert wedding coordinator at hand.

The four of us had the time worth recalling for a wedding coordinated at The Greenery in Baliaug, Bulacan proceeding where rain poured and troubled that it was raining there, too being an outdoor christian wedding ceremony. Then, it subsided and a little sunshine appeared but reaching the venue, drizzles were pouring being early afternoon in preparation for the 3:30 pm ceremony. The bride was worried, the groom was silent and we were up and around fixing things right until the bride had her final say to do the ceremony inside the ground floor of the hall of The Greenery in  preparation for the reception to be held in the second floor.

There, a rushed set-up at the first floor of the hall transporting the chairs and tables from a short distance while drizzles on. We realized the need to make the venue a sight to behold for the bride really wanted having it along the poolside. But she did the right move for everybody's comfort.

We made it a point to start the ceremony as scheduled because guests came in droves and we didn't want them to wait any longer coming from far places just to grace the event. Being accustomed to what needs be, the wedding ceremony started on its smooth flow with our attendance that was called for also making the task of the officiating priest easier.

The music provided by members of Augustine Music and Events made it more solemn as the ceremony went. Well, with their music choices, they knew better.

When the rites were done, it took thirty minutes before the wedding reception program commenced following their program. They had some highlights on mind and needed to be done out of the venue, so I was asked to skip some parts of the program and let everyone proceed out for the releasing of balloons with messages written on them by some guests together with their silent wishes for the couple. This also signalled guests to leave being a wedding destination and most came from Metro Manila.

Before leaving, being the wedding coordinator, we always make it a point to turn everything over to the couple matching the list we carry.

This memorable wedding of June 2, 2012 is proof that we extended joy to Alan and Marisa on our own sincere special way. Maybe, we had some missed points but being concerned wedding coordinators and planners we keep upgrading knowledge in event planning.

A FILIPINO WEDDING - MOMENT WITH ZITA AND RUDEE

April 12, 2012

She arrived from Ireland to marry her love one and such a wonderful wedding to watch as they exchanged their vows at Mt. Carmel Church for an afternoon wedding with their chosen songs and music played for the parts. Their guests came from far and wide just to grace this intimate wedding event with about 150 guests at their comfort zone. The ceremony lasted for an hour and so ready for a prepared wedding reception at the back of the church – the popular reception venue named after Fr. Mark Horan.

The wedding program was done casually with some parts where the couple where involved especially the groom where he serenaded his wife with a wonderful song unrehearsed to the delight of most of the guests with the accompaniment from the competent wedding musicians of Augustine Music and Events,  also did most of the songs and music during dinner.

The food served was okay with some dessert that was devoured earlier than expected and overflowing drinks of tea and some coffee. Surely, the guests enjoyed the festive dinner at the same time meeting long time friends and relatives as a Filipino custom that fails not. Even the couple had a wonderful time knowing some relatives whom they saw that very day and pleasant to remember such moment with them. Indeed, an affair to remember.

I heard Zita is leaving for Ireland after a week and Rudee will go back to work as a Government Official but deep from their hearts they will be in commune with each other every moment in time.

A Wedding at The South by Augustine Music and Events

April 2, 2012

A little earlier to start the wedding ceremony at 3pm but the place of ceremony is cozy and cool enough to house a bigger crowd but the guests seemed many as they scattered  themselves rather than grouping  together for the wedding ceremony. Filipinos love to join their friends and relatives that’s why the couple intends to invite mostly friends and relatives. But when the mass started they moved closer nearer the altar that seemed nice to watch after all. You could now watch a myriad of different colors of blue, yellow, pink and green gowns especially in one aisle where the members of the entourage had their posh styles matching their presence together with the young, good-looking male entourage in suits.

The couple had their wedding songs and music list for the members of Augustine Music and Events to perform and as the need arouse doing them with the usual style combining solemnity and pure modern melody as their choices fit. Music really makes or breaks a wedding day and for us gifted with subtle ear for right music, nothing goes wrong -  a trademark from outstanding wedding musicians of Manila, Philippines that can stand beside seasoned performers of the highest caliber. Filipino Musicians are one of the best in the world.

Well, the ceremony turned really that nice, without those distracting car and jeepney honking because St. James The Great Church is located in a posh haven where silence is evident and where distractions are nil. A fit ceremonial ground for a solemn wedding rituals. And that special day of March 31 was one true wedding.

It took the rituals more than an hour and no rushing happened. The next event was a mass scheduled for 5pm and ample time for the guests to have souvenir shots with the couple before proceeding to the venue at Bellvue Hotel, 20 minutes travel to reach the reception area. There was no hustle for us musicians because the program proper would start a little late around 6:30 pm and no need for us to join the cocktail that followed after the wedding ceremony.

Before the wedding reception program started, wedding musicians of repute did jazz music to liven the air as guests were received hand in hand with photo-booth sessions where they had their fun photos taken and served as souvenirs from the couple. The foyer is a comfortable to be in moving around because of the wider space despite tables set for the cocktail. Still, there was big room to chat and move around before the program started.

So, at the specified time I started my spiels as the wedding program host doing it the easy flair I am comfortable doing and enjoying the moment with the couple and guests. They had their program for me to handle and had the sheer fun with. The program run a little longer than I used to be doing but the involvement of the guests kept me going without realizing the time that progressed that long and the guests stayed for dancing. And dancing time did happen filling the dance floor with led and laser light hovering around amidst the darkness. Even the kids had their share of fun dancing to their innocent hearts’ desire.

Wedding destination is an experience that cracks the memory out for us wedding musicians and event wedding planners to always put to writing to remember and having the time immediately pushes me for some notes. That measures how we can go about improving as a team for we have some flaws to correct. But the sincerity arises and expresses as we go about doing the best we can – doing weddings.

WEDDING MUSICIANS APPRECIATED

March 14, 2012
Even just a simple word or sincere text encompasses the feeling of a music provider such as wedding musicians who feel the need of recognizing what are due them. The fun of sharing beautiful music as adding comfort for people who seek for a certain lullaby even to the extent of drowsing is consolation.

The wedding arena is an easy spot to deliver what is inherent from an artist of involving oneself to the reality of wonder. Why do we keep the music playing but to entertain and just a mere applause timidly done is enough to say, "you are good, man!" That is considered. An artist of any genre is sensitive and the passion still creeps to share something of the beautiful. Maybe, it is more than the price of money. It is a gift from God worth sharing and why are we here for in this vast universe but to contribute.

Each has its own way of a dealing. Even just a song intended to be heard when done rightly is a sign of release. What more with those whose passion for something is immersed. It is such delight feeling the obligation of tending the roots of upcoming artistry that surprises. Wedding musicians exemplify the true care of what music is all about. The magic of melody sensitizes the angry heart. It elevates sanity. It creates a space of believing that anybody can create magic in the air. Are we not magicians in our own right?

Truly, there is nothing unpleasant in a song even performed hazardously, to say harsh. Still, the message injects hurt, perhaps. Pain from desolated soul, too. What is considered is trying something else. Maybe a love song plays trust. It might ring in your ears a real romance and awakes the artist in you. We are all sparrows in the field trying to find  a niche. Maybe someday I'll hit the right cord to meet the standard of a world class Filipino artist. Or greater.
